Yesid Lainez – Chime In Youth Ambassador, Honduras

Yesid Lainez from Honduras is passionate about sustainable development. After having received a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Business Administration from UNITEC (Central American Technological University) in 2012, Yesid interned at the United Nations’ media platform, South-South News, in New York City. While there, she helped organize the South-South Awards, worked as a translator for the Social Impact Program, and helped develop concepts for EBLA to present to the Forum for Sustainable Development in Guatemala. She also participated in UN conferences such as “Building Cities” and “Women Empowerment in Developing Countries.”

Other causes dear to Yesid’s heart are biodiversity conservation and helping the elderly.
